Since our incorporation in 1991 Rivertown Communications has seen tremendous advancements in digital technologies for training and communication. Our first project was an interactive safety training course for the 3M Company delivered on a Pioneer Laserdisc. While custom safety-related courses have become a core product, we have added system simulations, soft-skills training, product knowledge training courses, and customer education and marketing communications and website development to our portfolio.
So that we can deliver exactly the training or web-based communication solution you need, we have developed a number of technologies that “fit together” in various customizable systems. For example:
We have developed Compass Plus™, a powerful Internet-based testing and dual-scale survey tool- We created WebPresenter™, a system to allow you to deliver instructor-lead, media-rich presentations over the Internet
- We are a reseller of the Prosperity™ Learning Management System to allow you to track learners progress and manage content
- We have developed internal capabilities to produce complete digital video and audio productions, or, to enhance learning or web sites
- To meet customer needs, we are able to develop training in multiple languages, including Spanish, Somali, Hmong and American Sign Language
- To meet Federal and State law, we can develop your training and web sites to meet all Section 508 and accessibility standards
Today, Rivertown Communications is still delivering quality training and promotional programs, but our delivery options have expanded. With the advent of digital technology, we can easily develop a product that best suits your needs, budget and audience. We can deliver your training or message on CD-ROM, DVD, video tape, Business-card CD, or over the Internet.
Our company is headquartered in Stillwater Minnesota, (near St. Paul) but because we rely on Internet technologies to facilitate our internal communications, we are able to work on projects worldwide. Our team is made up of degreed professionals working full-time in e-learning and website development.
Rivertown Communications has a State of Minnesota Master Contract and our client base is made up of companies of all sizes and government agencies. References and examples of our projects are available upon request.
