Medaglia d'Oro Studio
Internationally known photographer commissioned Rivertown Communications to develop a website that would display his large and changing body of work in a quality and exciting way. We developed a site reminiscent of a gallery and capable of presenting a large and varied amount of information. So as not to distract from the images, Michael requested that we not include any background music. To help visitors get to know Michael, we did record an audio interview with him and used portions of it throughout the site (available on demand). As Michael is constantly developing new “Photo Essays” we programmed an easy way for him to change the essays without our involvement.

Custom Iron
The Custom Iron website serves as the initial contact between the customer and the large selection of custom ornamental ironwork available from Custom Iron. The site was designed to make it easy for Custom Iron staff to update the product photos and descriptions without Rivertown involvement. Also available through the site, although not accessible to the general public, is a number of e-learning modules to designers and installers better utilize the Custom Iron product.

J-Mar Builders
J-Mar builders is accompany that constructs quality custom homes and a proponent of “green” building techniques. This website was designed to educate the visitor on both the benefits of working with J-Mar and of using green building techniques. J-Mar staff is able to update the gallery section without Rivertown involvement.

Aquacide
This website is the online reference and catalog for the Aquacide Company. Customers can research various types of invasive lake weeds and the methods of control. Orders can be placed through the e-commerce portion of the site and these orders are batched and imported into Aquacade’s inventory and shipping systems. The catalog of products and educational material is completely updatable by Aquacide staff.

Minnesota Historical Society
The Minnesota Historical Society contracted with Rivertown Communications to develop a web application that would help them manage their current “Encyclopedia of Minnesota” project. Authors will be contributing over 3,000 articles to MHS editorial staff and the web application we developed will allow MHS to easily manage all these documents throughout the many review and fact-checking steps. This site meets all Federal and State accessibility requirements.
