FluentSeeds

SEEDS of Learning

FluentSeeds™ is an organization dedicated to training the best child educators possible. Over the years they have created a wealth of training materials and real-world experience on the front lines of educating children. FluentSeeds came to Rivertown to create an e-learning course to consolidate all this material into an effective e-learning course, that could be used to train new and existing child educators nationwide. Working with FluentSeeds subject Matter Experts, our Instructional Designers created an 8-hour, multiple chapter course that covered all aspects of their desired training. The finished course exceeded all expectations, and FluentSeeds is now able to easily train significantly higher numbers of child educators.

Professional Training and Coaching (Children’s Educators)

FluentSeeds partnered with Rivertown Communications to implement their training materials into an engaging and visually appealing set of e-learning courses. The e-learning users needed to have their progress tracked, and Rivertown was able to provide this with our Inspire LMS. The courses are highly interactive, including video, animations, interactions, and tests. All the courses were done in both English and Spanish, and are delivered to learners and tracked using our Inspire LMS®, which was customized to their specific needs. This program also included discussion boards for learners to interact with Coaches and Trainers throughout their learning experience.

FluentSeeds provides early literacy training and coaching with ©SEEDS of Learning, a rigorously researched program based on the latest science of reading. SEEDS advances kindergarten readiness for all children equitably through fun and effective high-quality interactions. The ©SEEDS of Learning frameworks are currently being used in 12 states, with each program customized to meet the needs of the community.

The “Seeds of Learning E-learning” course is extremely effective based on the feedback from the teachers that used it. The teachers said that the platform enhanced their learning, was easy to navigate, and they really appreciated the flexibility of using an online course. FluentSeeds goal was for teachers to get the knowledge to excel at their jobs and to implement this knowledge right away in their classroom.
